Workers Compensation
Should you get injured on the job. Your injury is covered by workers compensation insurance provided by the county of San Bernardino. Local 935 also has a committee of members that are available to assist you through this process. Local 935 has paid for each member subscription to the CPF Exposure reporting system. This is available to you for logging and tracking of your on the job exposures to smoke and hazardous chemicals. It is important for you to document these exposures to be covered under the State of California Presumptive Laws. Below is the link to the login page. Please be diligent in reporting your exposures. California Fire Foundation
The California Fire Foundation provides Financial and Emotional Support to Firefighters and their families. They offer scholarships to firefighter children via their online application. The Foundation is also the primary sponsor for the Fallen Firefighters memorial. Visit the website for more information.
